No matter what I try, I just can't get Windows 12 to install.
In this I blame Microsoft. I feel sure that the problem is with them.

I will be "chatting" with them as soon as possible, to let them know of my disappointment.

The fault is in your Bios. Wipe the Bios and then try again.

What's the direct upgrade path from XP !!!.
Actually trawling some of those German websites there's definitely serious mileage in W12.
