It's being rumoured that Windows 12 will be including an optional DNA verification when using bio-metrics to log into the operating system.

Just how this will be implemented is anyone's guess. Will it measure sweat? Will it be taking a blood sample? Do we just spit on our laptop in the name of Microsoft? Will it work in conjunction with the finger print reader, secure boot, the latest version of TPM (requiring new hardware as always so get ready to break out your credit card one more time), two factor authentication, facial recognition, and a partridge in a pear tree? Will I be free to run other operating systems such as Linux or Qubes without having to make annoying modifications in my UEFI (BIOS) EVERY BLODDY TIME I want to boot them up?

Will I have to wash my hands first and take a retinal scan? Could this lead to Windows looking up every other orifice in my organic corporate unit?

Will I be required to spread my cheeks?

Inquiring minds need to know.

The irony is that they fired their beta testers long ago. I guess they need fresh blood in the company.
This could get interesting! :)

Around the World, there are programmers that are every bit as capable as those at Microsoft. And they can, and do, write some pretty good software, including kicking the :poop: out of MS Windows, every time Redmond puts out a new version.
MS puts in conditions and stipulations, and the after market boys knock them out.

World wide, Windows is like a Football Game played with "NO RULES". Just grab the ball and RUN! And knock the crap out of anyone getting in the way.

Just recently, I was doing some web searching and I came across a site listing a new version of Windows 11, called simply "Tiny 11". OH, it's Windows 11 alright, but they've removed all the conditions, stipulations, and the bloatware that MS likes to include in their OEM releases. They even Pre-Activated it with a Digital License. And it comes in at 2GB smaller than the OEM version.
It's loads of fun, for experimenters and hobbyists, like me.
I was able to download it, burn it to a Flash Drive, with Rufus, and install it to a spare HD, in just under an hour.
A web search for "Tiny 11" will find you the site.

I'm anxious to see what they will do with Windows 12. I'm pretty sure they will find a way to make it run on Older PC's.

Cheers mates,
TM
