My first computer was a 7" netbook in 2009 - on XP - so there was no room for programs! Assume I used Word Pad, but can't remember. Going back further, had a shared Commodore 64 with a game called something like lawnmower man on it

I am still using WordPerfect. I started back in 1998, when it was owned by WordPerfect in Orem, Utah. I am currently using the last version released, 2021 WordPerfect Office Standard.

I just never did get to like MS Word or Excel. I prefer Quattro Pro.

I am just another old dinosaur!!

I just turned 82 and seem to have lost the taste for chasing new or even old software.
Now writing a book, fiction but based on fact, and using LibreOffice Writer'
I had a Commodore 64 once, and after I re-wrote the OS, to make it faster and easier to use, and developed a Quiet Stop for the 1541 disk drive, I wound up in the Commodore Computer business. So much for a fun Hobby. I still have a C-64 and three monitors, but I'm afraid to even plug them in for fear of them blowing up in my face. So I still give them shelf space.
