Right click this GIF and choose: Save Image as... ...and save it as a .gif to your desktop.
Then go into Preferences > Account details, and click on your avatar to change...

Then browse to this .gif you just saved on your desktop. :)

When you're finished making this your new avatar... save the .gif on your desktop to a storage drive, for next time. :)

The using of a .gif for an avatar... is temporarily broken it seems.
Mine was animated also... about an hour or two ago. I left a note for John in the Site Bugs and Suggestions section about this.
But when John gets it fixed... your avatar should start being animated again.

You did everything correctly. It's just something with this site... atm.
But best to save the copy, you just saved to your desktop, in case you have to upload it again.


John posted, he'd be back in a while... so just be patient. :-)

I think it's easier to disable the email notifications, and just leave a tab open for each forum.
