Neural Processing Unit?
That reminds me of when, (years ago), AMD started putting Numerical Processing units in their CPU chips. Up till then, Numerical processing (also knows as Number Crunching) had to be done by a Separate Chip. That was a huge step up in CPU design.

I just aske Copilot and and the answer was that MS hasn't released any official information. Something that I think most of us already know. It did give a list from a few sources and if true they are very minimal and we have nothing to get upset about.

That's a brain isn't it? :ROFLMAO: Neural processing unit. Many years ago, when I found that the complete works of Shakespeare were on a disk, I was horrified thinking it wasn't the same as reading a book, and had this theory that in the future, we would just have a chip in our brains to access all information. Clearly I was wrong as then there would be no sales from computers.

For single, home use, a modern Smart Phone can sub for a PC. But for business and industry, only a PC and a Printer/Scanner will do. I can't see that changing any time soon.

Years ago, number crunching in a business was usually done on a mechanical accounting machine. I know that, because I worked on those machines, for NCR. But that all went away when the first Computerized Accounting Machines were released.
I worked on those too! NO More gears, wheels, mechanical counters and the like. But at least those old machines never had a BSOD! :ROFLMAO:
