Windows 12 - Microsoft starts work from March

No, it's not a typo. According to our information, Microsoft will start preparing for Windows 12 in March. In the run-up, they had already been looking for employees who would then provide additional support to the team. SwiftOnSecurity also confirms this information.

That doesn't mean that we'll see a new Windows 12 tomorrow. This can still drag on, since you start (almost) from scratch. One can assume that the Windows 10 substructure will then be completely abandoned. Windows 11 still has this substructure.

That means in plain English: What you started with Windows 10 X, to do everything new, is then really implemented in Windows 12. The latest changes in the Insider already show where the path is going. Leave old " camels " aside and only implement current things.

PS: The information from SwiftOnSecurity that two TPM modules are then required is of course a joke. But if you start now, also for the Pro, you need an internet connection and later also an MS account, you can already imagine in which direction things are going.

The core elements, some of which Microsoft has already launched with Windows 11 or will launch with the fall 2022 update (“22H2”), include:
  • Mandatory for Microsoft account in Home and Pro
  • An even stronger focus on TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot
  • Integration of the security chip “ Microsoft Pluton ”
  • Completely new substructure without the legacy
  • Take up approaches from Windows 10X

@Futurdreamz imo it's not rehashing at all, it's pointing out when the updsate may occur, and that the upgrade may be free & some of it's features ! It's all speculating at this point until MS gives us something concrete !

Windows 11 was a free update, and even Windows 10 was secretly a free update to 7 or 8 the whole time. Windows 12 being a free upgrade seems obvious.
The rumoured features include a new user interface with a floating taskbar and search bar, the integration of AI (artificial intelligence) for various functions, the possibility of removing the Control Panel in favour of Settings, the addition of animated wallpapers and the option for users to install Android apps via their APK file, among others.
the new UI was posted in this thread, linking to an article from October of last year
Microsoft has integrated AI into Bing and from the beginning declared they would integrate it into office, and os level integration is the logical next step
Microsoft has been slowly replacing control panel with the settings app since Windows 8, and has made it clear that they intended to work on it until Control panel can be entirely removed
I'm not finding a lot of information on animated wallpapers, I think I read something relevent but I don't recall what it could've been. I'll concede that this may be a rumour
The Windows Subsystem For Android has been available since Windows 10. it's available in Windows 11, and being available in windows 12 seems likely.

I'd have to check on the predicted release date, but aside from that and the animated wallpapers most of that article is clearly making very, very safe bets using information we already know; not rumors from people who allegedly have insiders information.

Edge has animated wallpapers (themes). I'm using the "Reservoirs in Kaprun in the Zell am See District of Salzburg, Austria". If this is what you are referring to, then they should be available to an OS.

You do not believe it was obvious so you believe you have posted a falsehood.
If you believed it was obvious you would not have felt the need to state that it was obvious [because it was obvious].
